The Broken News 2 sees her in the role of the no-nonsense Ameena Qureshi. And to top it all, it’s the series of The Broken News which also marks the OTT debut of Sonali Bendre!

Flawless direction
The gripping series which is set against a courtroom drama, has been directed by Vinay Waikul. Gripping plot
All those who have seen the first part of The Broken News, simply just cannot stop praising the series’ plot, which really had shaken many. For the unversed, The Broken News 2 continues with the arch rivalry which was shown in the first series – that of two Indian news channels viz. Josh 24/7 and Awaaz Bharati.

Besides being professional rivals, these two channels also have an underlying rivalry in terms of their ethics, morals and principles. The manner in which these two channels function, operate and
“co-operate’ is what forms one of the shining USPs of the show.

Success of Broken News’s first part
After the first part of Broken News met with unprecedented success, the audiences all over were extremely eager to know how exactly the story will be proceeding in the second part. Well. It is these expectations and also the confidence in the director to roll out an equally engaging second part of the series of The Broken News, which makes the show one of the most eagerly awaited ones of recent times.

The Broken News 2 will be premiering on ZEE5 on May 3.
