The third season of Prime Video’s The Boys was released to much fanfare. The latest season took off to a flier as it featured Vought Studio’s much-awaited premiere of ‘Dawn of The Seven’. And if that wasn’t enough to get fans at the edge of their seat, it was none other than Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron who packed a punch as Stormfront, taking the excitement sky high. The scene sees her, as the disgraced, white supremacist villain, donning the iconic purple costume and casting a glance at Homelander.
Speaking about her, the showrunner Eric Kripke said in his statement about how an amazing sport she was on the sets. He said, “God bless her. I’m sure she thought [it] was just a short, quick little favor — now our super suit people are calling her and she has to come in for fittings and she shows up on the day and there’s this big set and she’s definitely going to be working all day."
He further said that when he spoke to her that morning, she told him how 'ridiculous' the dialogue was. "And she played it deep, with all of [her] heart … beyond the fact that it’s a hilarious cameo. She’s f—ing brilliantly funny in that role — how much she commits,” he added.
Created by Eric Kripke, The Boys also stars Jensen Ackles, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott and Chace Crawford, among others. The third season is presently streaming on Prime Video, with six episodes of the eight-episode season now out. It is available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
