The Boys 3: Jensen Ackles says some emotions during confrontation with ex-lover was cut out of the episode

The fifth episode of The Boys season 3 is now out, and fans of the series are astonished by it. It marked the entry of the Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, who is America’s first and greatest superhero before Homelander. He is all set on a quest to find the members of Payback, his previous squad, to seek revenge.

Soldier Boy was already mistreated and was conducted experiments on by the Russians for years, and it is now his turn to strike revenge. The forthcoming episodes of the Amazon Prime Video series will undoubtedly have viewers on the edge of their seats.

Jensen talked about his character and how he felt dejected by his own team. He said in a statement, “Soldier Boy wants revenge on why he got taken out of the game, why he was left out to pasture. He's a little pissed off that his team Payback, A, didn't come and get him but more importantly, B, gave him up in the first place.”

The actor went on to describe the gruesome moment from Episode 5. The spectators certainly saw far more than a peek as to how hell-bent on vengeance, Soldier Boy appears. Jenson mentioned, "It was a confrontation with an ex-lover. And in the filming of it, Soldier Boy actually gets pretty upset. I understand some of that emotion was cut out [of the episode] because it didn't feel right. It didn't service the story, I think, as well as just being calm and cool and a stone-cold killer."

The Boys Season 3 created by Eric Kripke, is presently streaming on Prime Video, with five episodes of the eight-episode season now out on the OTT platform. The makers release one episode every week. The show is available in the following languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
