What to expect from The Bequeathed

The series is created and penned by Train to Busan and Hellbound director Yeon Sang Ho, along with Min Ho Nam as he marks his directorial debut to team up with the former. With eerie murders and cloaked figures leaving their footprints on the ‘pesky burial place,’ the upcoming thriller is ideal for crime genre fans.  The trailer predicts the story to be a spine-chilling drama stuffed with blood and gore with the addition of murder mystery themes. What makes it a fascinating watch competing with Disney+Hotstar’s ‘A Shop for Killer’ is the use of numerous elements like hooded figures, blood-splattered walls, and warnings by the jealous half-brother.

The cast is led by Kim Hyun Joo as she plays the strong female protagonist (Yoon Seo Ha) searching for truth. The character of insane half-brother Kim Young Ho is played by actor Ryu Kyung Soo. Meanwhile, the impressive Park Hee Soon plays the homicide detective along with Park Byung Eun as a police officer.
