That ’90s Show: Netflix announces cast line-up of upcoming That ’70s Show spinoff

That '90s Show set in 1995, will follow Eric and Donna's daughter Leia, who visits her grandparents during the summer vacation and forms a bond with a new generation of Point Place kids.

Joining Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp who played Red and Kitty Foreman in That '70s Show respectively are a host of new faces in an upcoming Netflix spinoff. Titled That '90s Show, the development of the series came to light back in October 2021.

The 10-episode series will follow the multi-cam setup like the original did. Callie Haverda (Leia Foreman), Ashley Aufderheide (as Gwen), Mace Coronel (as Jay), Maxwell Acee Donovan (as Nate), Reyn Doi (Ozzie), and Sam Morelos (as Nikki) have boarded the cast, writes Variety.

Original series creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner and their daughter Lindsey Turner will serve as writers and executive producers. That '70s Show alum Gregg Mettler is also writing and will be the producer and showrunner.

Smith and Rupp are executive producers as well. Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner of The Carsey-Werner Company, who executive produced the original, will return for the spinoff in the same roles.

That '70s Show premiered on Fox in 1998 and starred Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Danny Masterson, Ashton Kutcher, and Wilmer Valderrama. The series ran for over 200 episodes before concluding in 2006.
