Thar Twitter review: Netizens all praise for Anil Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh and film’s visuals

The highly awaited neo noir Western, Thar hit the silver screen today. The film saw real life father-son duo Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor share the screen in their latest collaboration. With its intriguing premise and star power, it was no surprise that the film witnessed its fair share of hype. As the film had its digital release today, fans flocked to Twitter to voice their opinions on the Western thriller.

Many users had a lot to love about the film, especially its visuals and the cast’s performances. A user called the film a “Tarantino-ish western”, and talked about the splendid performance of the lead cast. Another said that Harsh Varrdhan gave his ‘career best’ performance in the film and referred to the film as an ‘engaging visual spectacle’. The film’s story, screenplay, cinematography, performances and background music were some of the things users loved about it.

The film’s climax too seemed to impress many netizens. Many users appreciated the ‘amazing’ climax and called the film ‘full of mystery’. Calling the film ‘engaging’ a user talked about how they felt the ‘father-son duo is fire’.

Anupam Kher joined fans in lauding the film. The Kashmir Files actor said the film was ‘intriguing’ and ‘beautifully shot’. He also praised Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik, and called Harsh Varrdhan the ‘heart of the film’.

But the film did not manage to impress everyone.
