Thankamani is anticipated to be released in the first or second week of April, following the current trend of releasing films on OTT after a 40-day theatrical run.
The main character in this gripping revenge thriller is portrayed by actor Dileep. Udal-fame Ratheesh Raghunandan is the director of Thankamani. The female leads are Pranitha Subhash and Neeta Pillai.
The movie's delayed theatrical release upset the actor's fan base. The teaser revealed an interesting character arc for Dileep. Nevertheless, the public's opinions of Thankamani were divided and it did not provide Dileep with the comeback he needed in Malayalam cinema.
Even though they had a strong supporting cast, they were merely used as plot devices and received little screen time. Thankamani has its own set of overused elements, which makes it even more monotonous. The movie seems to have focused more on heartbreaking romance in the hopes that it would resonate with audiences. But it turns out to be a common plot device rather than having an impact on the viewer.
