After extensive promotions and a premiere at the 46th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2023), Thank You for Coming is gearing up for its theatrical release this week. Karan Boolani is the director of the chick flick, which emphasises female pleasure as well as friendships. His wife, producer-stylist Rhea Kapoor, produced the movie under the banner of Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network Production, and Ektaa R. Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Ltd. is in charge of presenting it.

In the film, after several failed engagements, Kanika Kapoor (Bhumi Pednekar), a hopeless romantic, is considering an arranged marriage. Her first orgasm, a strange present, is triggered when she invites her exes to her engagement party. Thank You For Coming is a humorous and self-reflective adventure about love, society, and the nature of female pleasure.

The film is hardly two hours long. During its TIFF premiere, Thank You For Coming's runtime was 116 minutes, that is, one hour and 56 minutes.
