With the advent of OTT as a medium of film making, the film makers have started trying to push the film’s premises a bit ahead of the comfort zone that it had been enjoying so far. The Karan Boolani directed ‘Thank You for Coming’ is one such film which is bound to challenge many aspects of simple scripting. The film has been produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ekta R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor

Film’s plot
The film’s plot revolves around Bhumi Pednekar’s character who is extremely tensed up in her life because she has never had an orgasm in her entire life till date! Thereafter starts her quest to find her ‘Mr. Right’. This quest of hers takes her through many ups and downs of life and also the ‘highs’ and lows of life! Things change (or rather tend to change) with the entry of Anil Kapoor’s character in the scene!

Film’s trailer
As told in the film’s plot, the film’s trailer focusses totally on Bhumi Pednekar’s character. She is someone who has never had an orgasm in her entire life. And the kind of help that her girl gang help her to find her Mr. Right is what makes the journey of the film.

The cast of 'Thank You For Coming'
Besides Bhumi Pednekar, the film also stars a whole bunch of actors including Shehnaaz Gill and Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Karan Kundrra and others. The icing on the cake is however the striking and dashing presence of the ageless actor Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in a special appearance in the film.

Release date and OTT platform
The film has been scheduled to be released in theatres on October 6 this year. As for the OTT platform, the film will be streamed on Netflix.
