"Thank you for being the person you are" - Malayalam actress Abhirami to Challenging Star Darshan

The two had first shared screen space back in 2003 in 'Laali Haadu'.

Challenging Star Darshan's long career has seen him collaborate with talents from multiple industries. During the course, his friendships with certain artists have only gotten stronger, thus confirming that he is one of the fiercest friends in the Kannada film fraternity. Actress Abhirami, who is a well-known face across all four south Indian film industries, recently shared a post in which she admires this very quality of Darshan and pens a heartwarming note for her 'Laali Haadu' costar.

Many would remember that Abhirami's Kannada debut came alongside Darshan in the 2003 film Laali Haadu which was a critical success at the time of its release. Fans adored their on-screen camaraderie and despite them not working together again, the pairing has remained close to many hearts. The two would cross paths almost 20 years later on the sets of 'Kranti' where they rekindled their old friendship and spent quality time in one another's company.

"Met and worked with Darshan almost 2 decades ago when we were both "beginners." Got to spend some time with him after so long and it was like no time had passed. The same warmth, laughter and fondness was there and it was like we picked up where we had left off. Thank you @darshanthoogudeepashrinivas for being the person you are! 🥰" wrote Abhirami in her endearing post that also included a delightful selfie click of the two.

Darshan has also remained on the best of terms with his former costar and now film producer Rakshitha Prem. The two have worked on multiple successful films and have grown to become "besties", and have often expressed the mutual respect and adoration via social media.

While there's very little known about Abhirami's role in Kranti, reports have previously suggested that she joins the exciting cast to play a crucial role. Rachita Ram plays the female lead in the film with V. Harikrishna donning the director's hat for the second time in his career. Darshan collaborates with the team of 'Yajamana' for Kranti with the husband-wife duo of Shylaja Nag and B. Suresha producing the film. This would be Darshan 55th outing as a leading man and fans have pinned several hopes on the film.
