Thangalaan star Chiyaan Vikram has to say THIS about Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan

The film completes one year of release and the actor thanked Karthik Subbaraj on the occasion

It's been a year since director Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan released. Chiyaan Vikram, who played the lead in the film, dropped a video montage from the film and wrote that Mahaan was one of his best characters ever. He wrote on his social media handle, "Celebrating 1 year of one of my best films & characters.The joy of being a part of it.Sharing screen space with Dhruv,Bobby, Simran,Sananth & the rest of the talented cast & crew.Watching it celebrated all over.Can only say “Thank you Karthik”. #Mahaan (sic)."

Karthik Subbaraj, thanked Vikram and replied to him saying that the entire team of Mahaan loved him.

He also shared the video and wrote that it was one year of living big.  He shared on his Twitter handle, "Thanks for all the Love Showered on #MahaanIt's one year of Living Big!! @chiyaan #OneYearofMahaan #1YearOfMAHAANism (sic)."

The action thriller starring Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Bobby Simha, Aadukalam Naren, Sanath, Ramachandran Durairaj, Gajaraj, Deepak Paramesh and Balaji Sakthivel, is an action thriller, released on February 10 , 2022. Due to the Covid restrictions, the film had a straight release on Amazon Prime Video. The film brought together the father- son duo of Vikram and Dhruv for the first time on screen and the combo was a hit.

The film revolves around a former teacher and Gandhian named Gandhi Mahaan (Vikram), who is abandoned by his family and goes on to become a liquor baron. Meanwhile his son Dadabhai Naoroji ( Dhruv) tries to seek revenge on his father. Mahaan has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna and editing by Vivek Harshan. The film is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio.

In the meantime, Vikram is currently filming for his next, Thangalaan, under the direction of Pa Ranjith. The film set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Field, has Parvathi Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan as the leading ladies.-
