The teaser is all set to launched at an event in Chennai on Wednesday
The makers of Chiyaan Vikram's Thangalaan had recently announced that the teaser of the much-awaited film will be released on November 1. Now the latest we hear is that the team is planning to hold a teaser launch in Chennai on Wednesday to mark the occasion.

Team drops new poster ahead of teaser release
The team has dropped a brand new poster from the film, which features Vikram in a serious avatar standing atop a rock and a few Britishers lined up next to him going through a document. The way Vikram is standing with oodles of poise and guts has won the hearts of the audience. This is also the first time that a poster featuring the British officers has been released by the team.
It is to be noted that Thangalaan is set in the pre-independence and the story revolves around the lives of mine workers at the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The film is said to be inspired by real-life incidents.

The film brings together Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, Preeti Karan and Muthukumar. GV Prakash has scored the music for the period film. While the cinematography is by A Kishor Kumar, editing is by Selva RK. Art direction is by SS Murti and action choreography by Stunner Sam. The film is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green and Pa Ranjith's home banner Neelam Productions. The film is all set to drop in theatres on November 26, 2024 as Republic Day special.

In the meantime, Vikram has begun work on his next with SU Arun Kumar, whose latest outing Chithha has become the talk of the town. The film is set in Tiruttani and Vikram plays an intriguing character. The actor is all set to be seen in a mass small-town avatar in the film, who leaves no stone unturned to punish the wrongdoers. The makers had recently dropped a first look glimpse. The film is bankrolled by Riya Shibu's HR Pictures.
