Thalavan will be released in theatres on February 23. Jis Joy has directed this investigative thriller.
One of the much-awaited Mollywood films of the year is Jis Joy's Thalavan, which features Asif Ali and Biju Menon in the key parts. The makers of this investigative thriller released a teaser on February 1. The film will be released in theatres on February 23.
From the first glimpse, Thalavan appears to be a compelling story about the ego clash between two police officers of different ranks. While the teaser does not provide much away regarding the plot, it does hint at some interesting action scenes that are reminiscent of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon's Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which delves into the extremes of male ego.
In just fifteen minutes after its release on YouTube, the teaser received over 4,500 views. Many expressed their expectations for the movie, which would be Asif Ali's comeback after a couple of last year's box office failures, including Kasargold and A Ranjith Cinema. Some, however, expressed how much they were looking forward to a Jis Joy movie.
After a brief hiatus, Jis Joy is finally getting a theatrical release, much to the audience's excitement. Mohan Kumar Fans, starring Kunchacko Boban and Siddique in lead roles, was his most recent theatrical release in 2021.
The actors also took to their social media pages to share the teaser with the tagline, “The Hunter.. The Trap.. The Prey..! Its getting exciting..!.”
