Thalapathy Vijay not playing a cameo in SRK's Jawan, confirms Atlee putting an end to speculation

The movie is set to open huge in Tamil Nadu, thanks to a few factors,

The release of Jawan is only a few hours away and fans of Shah Rukh Khan are beaming with excitement. The Bollywood movie is poised to take a huge opening across the world. The day-one number in India is expected to surpass Pathaan's record.

Interestingly, the figures from south India, too, are likely to be huge. SRK's promotional activity in Tamil Nadu is going to benefit the film's box office performance in the state. The cast and crew members from the Tamil film industry who are associated with the project are another reason behind the movie's good buzz in the state.

Vijay not playing a cameo in Jawan

There has been a huge buzz with regard to Vijay playing a cameo in the film. Atlee has helmed three movies of the Leo star and the equation the duo shares escalated the reports. In fact, many fans of Vijay have booked the FDFS of Jawan and were eager to know if their favourite star is going to appear in the movie.

However, Atlee himself has now clarified that it is a baseless speculation. He added that he would have announced it officially had Vijay been playing a role in the film. A few sources are now saying that the director will make an appearance in Jawan.

Vijay's entry was expected in Jawan's audio launch as well

The audio launch aka pre-release event of Jawan which was held in Chennai, too, had high expectations among Vijay fans as the star was rumoured to attend the affair. A picture of the Varisu star from the US airport returning to Chennai added fuel to the speculation.
