Thalapathy Vijay might be enjoying a steady and massive fan base across the world, but it's not often that one gets to catch his own fanboy moment! And that's exactly what Venkat Prabhu did during the screening of Hollywood star Denzel Washington's Equalizer 3 in Los Angeles.

Thalapathy's fan moment
The team of Thalapathy 68 is currently in LA for the pre-production work of the upcoming film. Vijay is accompanied by the film's director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalpathi. It looks like the team managed to take a break from work and caught up on Equalizer 3 in theatres. During the film, when The Manchurian Candidate actor appeared on screen, Vijay got up from his seat with his arms wide open.

It was only yesterday that Venkat Prabhu had shared yet another picture of Vijay at LA as the team visited a leading Hollywood studio. One of the pictures shows Vijay perched inside an advanced technology setup, surrounded by lights. Venkat Prabhu had captioned the picture, "Welcome to the future!! (sic)"

Thalapathy 68's Indian 2 connection
 It is to be noted that director Shankar had shared a similar picture during the post production of his upcoming film, Indian 2. It is said that the team will be using the deaging technology to show Kamal Haasan as a young man in the film. In Thalapathy 68, Vijay is said to be playing a dual role, father and son.

In the meantime, talks are on with Simran to play the leading lady opposite the father character. Jyotika's name is also being tossed around. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
