Thalapathy 68, the highly anticipated project, marks the first collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu. The most-awaited first look of the movie, which is touted to be a science fiction thriller, is now gearing up for its massive release. Meanwhile, the recent updates suggest that the foreign shooting schedules of Thalapathy 68 are not over yet. Director Venkat Prabhu is currently busy finalising the grand plans for the film in 2024.
Thalapathy 68 first look to release at 6 pm today
As reported earlier, the official first-look poster and the much-awaited official title of Thalapathy Vijay’s ambitious project is getting released today (December 31, 2023). Recently, director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalpathi took to her official social media handles and confirmed that the first look and title of Thalapathy 68 will be revealed at 6 pm today, thus marking a great start to the New Year celebrations. “#Thalapathy68FirstLook lands this evening!! A Venkat Prabhu……,” reads the filmmaker’s social media post.
According to the grapevine, the makers of Thalapathy 68 are also planning to drop a high-octane first-look motion poster or a special title reveal video featuring leading man Thalapathy Vijay, along with the first-look poster. More special updates on the project, especially more posters are also expected to be revealed on January 1, 2024, on the special occasion of the New Year.

Thalapathy 68 next schedule update
Meanwhile, the Thalapathy 68 team is currently enjoying a quick New Year break after wrapping up the first schedule shoot. The recent updates suggest that director Venkat Prabhu, however, is busy finalizing the locations of the film’s next foreign schedule which will go on floors in Sri Lanka. However, it is yet to be revealed if the Sri Lanka schedule will happen before the Chennai shooting schedule of the film.
