Thalapathy 66 with Vamshi Paidipally will be a Tamil film, reveals Beast actor Vijay to Nelson

The release of Beast is just a couple of days away and fans of Vijay can't hold the excitement back anymore. The film is expected to register a new opening day record for day one in Tamil Nadu. Though the hardcore fans were slightly disappointed initially with the absence of an audio launch for the movie, the actor has given an interview after a long time in which he has spoken about his career, upcoming plans, and so on.

Interestingly, it was the movie's director Nelson Dilipkumar who interviewed the star. The filmmaker ensured that he asked some relevant questions and kept the 50-minute interaction entertaining. Nelson asked him if Vijay's forthcoming project, which has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, is a straight Telugu movie or a bilingual project which is being made in Tamil and Telugu.

Vijay revealed that it is going to be a Tamil movie and not a Tollywood project. He said, "Producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi approached me to make a film in Tamil. Like most of my previous projects, it will be dubbed into Telugu. Many are assuming it to be a Telugu project because the producer and director are from Tollywood."

Nelson also pointed out the fact that fans have been missing the audio launch this time and checked with him if he has any story to share with his fans. Vijay narrated a small story about doing service to others and Nelson, in return, asked how he manages to come up with such stories spontaneously.

Needless to say, the clips from the interview have been going viral on social media. As if this isn't enough, a video of Vijay and the Beast crew travelling in his swanky car went viral on social media. The video was taken during a shooting break and the team revealed the video which had Vijay driving his Rolls Royce even as Pooja Hegde and Nelson among others seen enjoying the special ride.
