Starring Kishore and Sriya Reddy, Thalamai Seyalagam is set to be released on May 17 on ZEE5
We had earlier reported that a new Tamil political drama series titled Thalamai Seyalagam is set to premiere on ZEE5 soon. On Wednesday, the makers released the trailer for the series ahead of its release on May 17.

The trailer begins with a voiceover about how politics is the biggest addiction. We are then introduced to various characters in the series who seem to be talking about a case and how the verdict will determine the fate of a political party. We are shown various characters talking about how corrupt that party is, the various groups associated with it and how politicians view their profession.

Thalaimai Seyalagam is directed by National Award-winning director Vasanthabalan, who is known for films like Kaaviya Thalaivan, Angadi Theru and the recently released Aneethi. Thalaimai Seyalagam will premiere on May 17 exclusively on ZEE5.
The series stars Kishore in the lead role who has appeared in films like Kantara and Viduthalai. The star ensemble also includes actors Sriya Reddy, Bharath, Ramya Nambessan, Aditya Menon, Kani Kusruti, Niroop Nandakumar, Darsha Gupta, Sarah Black, Siddharth Vipin, YGM, Santhana Bharathi, Kavitha Bharathi and others.
Thalamai Seyalagam is written and directed by filmmaker G. Vasanthabalan, who is known for his unique choice of scripts. It is backed by actors Radikaa Sarathkumar and R Sarathkumar under their production house banner, Radaan Mediaworks India Limited.
The technical crew of the upcoming series includes cinematographer Wide Angle Ravishankar, with music scored by Ghibran. The additional background score is done by Simon K King. V Sasikumar is the art director and Don Ashok has done the stunt sequences. The series is edited by Ravikumar M.
Thalamai Seyalagam’s release comes a few weeks after the elections took place in Tamil Nadu. It adds itself to the list of political series like Queen, Tandav, and Maharani, which have been released by various OTT platforms.
