Thalaivii's Nain Bandhe Naine Se song teaser release: Kangana looks graceful as classical dancer

The makers of Thalaivii dropped another teaser for the upcoming song Nain Bandhe Naino Se which features Kangana Ranaut in a beautiful classical dancer avatar. G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the track, which is penned by Irshad Kamil, and sung by Saindhavi Prakash. The forthcoming composition is set to release on September 4.

Kangana is seen in two different attires, a red and a golden one, which are as elegant as they could be. The actress is seen dancing with a bunch of background dancers on a film set. The makers claim that the upcoming song will “touch the strings of the audience’s heart.”

Meanwhile, the film recently got caught up in a controversy that has now been sorted out. According to the ETimes, the makers of the film were planning to release the film on OTT soon after its release on the big screen. However, the theatre owners opposed this decision saying they would refrain from screening the film in theatres if the film is released on a digital platform in less than four weeks from its theatrical release. The makers then dropped the plan to quickly release it on OTT and decided to go ahead with their earlier plan of the theatrical release on September 10.

The film had earlier landed in another controversy when Jayalalitha’s niece Deepa moved the Madras High Court seeking a ban on the film even though the team had reportedly received permission for the movie from Jayalalitha's nephew. However, the Madras High Court later dismissed the case.

Thalaivii is a biographical film based on the life of the late actress-politician J Jayalalitha. Apart from Kangana in the titular role, the film also features Aravind Swami as the late superstar MGR with Samuthirakani, Bhaghyashree, Madhoo and Priyamani in pivotal roles.
