Thalaivii: Superstar Rajinikanth praises Kangana Ranaut starrer, says it was ‘beautifully handled’

Superstar Rajinikanth recently conveyed his appreciation towards the Kangana Ranaut starrer, Thalavii through a phone call with its director, AL Vijay.

Reportedly, a special screening of Thalaivii was arranged for the superstar the previous day, which ended up moving the ace actor. According to Cinema Express, Rajinikanth made a phone call to the movie’s director, AL Vijay personally to congratulate him on making a ‘beautiful’ movie. The ace actor felt that the movie was a tough one to make as it involved representing two eminent personalities like MGR and Jayalalithaa, who were public personalities, both in cinema and politics. He reportedly lauded the director for handling this tough subject in a ‘beautiful’ manner. The Superstar’s kind gesture has left the team of Thalaivii in a delightful surprise.

Positive reviews of the movie are also continuing to pour in. The film is expected to have an extended theatrical run. Rajinikanth’s praise for AL Vijay has left the fans wondering if the duo might pair up possibly, soon. In a recent interview, Kangana Ranaut too shared her desire to work with Rajinikanth in future.

Superstar Rajinikath has never stopped himself from expressing his appreciation for a movie that he enjoys. He had earlier lauded the director of the Dulquer Salmaan starrer, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal Desingu Periyasamy when the film was released last year. The actor is now in reports to join hands with the director for an upcoming movie.

Talking about the much-expected Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe, the first look and motion picture have currently fuelled up fans with excitement, who are eagerly awaiting the movie’s release. The action-flick is touted to have its theatrical release during Diwali on November 4.
