Thalaivar 170, Thalapathy 68 and Vidaa Muyarchi shoot to begin THIS month

The shoot for all the three films are likely to go on floors soon

It looks like October is going to be one busy month in the Tamil film industry. With three big films, namely Thalaivar 170, Thalapathy 68 and Vidaa Muyarchi, going on floors, the excitement among fans has reached a feverish peak.

The announcements for Superstar Rajinikanth's next have begun rolling in. The film, helmed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame, is likely to have Manju Warrier and Ritika Singh as the leading ladies. While Manju Warrier will be seen as Rajinikanth's wife, Ritika Singh is said to be playing a cop. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with the Superstar after Petta, Darbar and Jailer. Thalaivar 170 is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

The formal launch of Vijay's next with Venkat Prabhu is all set to happen tomorrow, according to sources. The latest we hear is that Meenakshi Chaudhary of Kolai fame has been roped in as the leading lady. Vijay is said to be playing dual roles in the film, and Priyanka Mohan's name along with that of Simran's had done the rounds earlier. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and is bankrolled by AGS Productions. The team had already visited a leading VFX Studio at Los Angeles as part of the pre-production work.

Meanwhile, the shoot for Ajith's Vidaaa Muyarchi is all set to begin on October 4. The technical crew is already in Abu Dhabi where the first schedule of the film is to be held. The star cast is all set to join soon. It looks like the team will be canning portions in different parts of Asia. Leo actress Trisha is said to be playing the leading lady in the film, helmed by Magizh Thirumeni. Arav and Sanjay Dutt's names are doing the rounds as well. An official confirmation is awaited. Vidaa Muyarchi is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.-
