The makers of Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming social comedy, Dasvi, have released another song from the movie. Titled Thaan Liya, the song features the actor trying his best to get a high school diploma.
The song is an inspiring number that starts off and eventually builds up. From the drop, to its change in vocals, the song has points where it captures the attention of the audience. Sukhwinder Singh and Tanishkaa Sanghvi have sung the track, which has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.
The video song also offers a look into the film, which has an interesting premise. The social comedy follows a brash and loud leader, who after his imprisonment, is ready to give it his best and try to earn a high school diploma. Bachchan is seen going through multiple books on different subjects and taking classes inside the prison. The inmate’s struggles including the urge to just fall asleep are all shown in the video song.
Dasvi, which is written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Sandeep Laeyzell and helmed by Tushar Jalota has already upped the expectations of the fans. The latest song will add to the excitement and wait for the film’s release.
Apart from Bachchan, the movie also stars Yami Gautam, Nimrat Kaur, Manu Rishi Chadha, Arun Kushwaha, Shivankit Singh Parihar, and Sumit Shekhar Rai.
The movie, which is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan (Maddock Films) and Bake My Cake Films, has decided to skip its theatrical release. The comedy, which looks to entertain and educate its viewers, is set to release on Netflix and Jio Cinema on April 7.
