Almost all the lead actors of the film appear in the first song released by makers,
Dhanush and Nithya Menen
Music composer Anirudh had recently announced in a unique manner that the first single from Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam will be released today. The movie marks the popular duo's comeback after seven years. Their fans and music lovers were expecting nothing short of a fast-paced track from their combination.
Titled Thaai Kelavi, the lyric video stays true to expectations, thanks to the foot-tapping number set against the backdrop of a temple festival. The instrumentation that reminds us of a jovial village festival, catchy lyrics by Dhanush, similar to Why This Kolaveri, and his appealing voice are prime highlights of the song.
The lyric video features Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj, almost all leading actors of the movie. Dhanush's effortless dance moves is another aspect which stands out in the video. His chemistry with Nithya Menen looks refreshing.
The song revolves around Dhanush's character teasing Nithya's character after a crucial incident happens between them. Bharathiraja having a whale of a time shaking a leg to the song without any inhibition is another appealing factor in the lyric video. Sathish Krishnan has choreographed dance moves for the song.
Thiruchitrambalam, which is bankrolled by Sun Pictures, will hit the screens on August 18. The movie which brings back Dhanush to the big screen after four continuous OTT releases has been directed by Mithran Jawahar. The actor-director is teaming up after more than a decade.
With the makers having released its first single, fans of Dhanush are hopeful of them releasing back-to-back songs, apart from updates on teaser, trailer and other promo videos. The film is Dhanush's first project with the female leads Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
