Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, the film has opened to mixed reviews by critics and good reactions from the audience. Kapoor's wife took to her Instagram stories and called TBMAUJ a 'complete laughter riot'. She mentioned that the movie is a mixture of love, laughter, dance, and a heart-touching message.
