Telugu actor Nithiin’s launches his new project on Ganesh Chaturthi

The movie that has Krithi Shetty as the female lead will go on floors in October,

Telugu superstar Nithiin launched his new project today with a puja in Hyderabad. He is collaborating with director MS Raja Shekhar Reddy and the movie will be bankrolled by Nithiin’s own production company, Sreshth Movies. The movie is touted to be a commercial film with both action and family drama. It is targeted at a family audience.

Nithiin was last seen in Rang De paired with Keerthy Suresh. The movie was appreciated by critics who praised the onscreen chemistry of the two actors but failed to become a commercial success. He is also involved in Maestro, a Telugu remake of the Bollywood blockbuster Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurranna.

Kriti Shetty, who debuted with the Telugu movie Uppena, is paired with Nithiin in the upcoming film. The actress played a bold woman in her debut movie with Vijay Sethupathi who played her father opposing her choice of partner.

Mahathi Swara Sagar, son of famed music director Manisharma, is roped in to compose music. This will be Sagar’s third collaboration with Nithiin. The film’s dialogues are penned by Mamidala Thirupathi and Prasad Murella will be handling the cinematography. Sahi Suresh is in charge of the sets and art direction. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao who has edited some of the biggest hits in Tollywood is reportedly editing this film too.The film’s shooting schedule will begin from the start of October while the first look poster will be released soon.
