“Tell me about why should I do your movie”: Jeremy Allen White talks about his confusion with Marvel superhero movies

The 32-year-old actor is currently gearing up for the thriller-drama, The Iron Claw, which tells the story about the famous Von Erich family

Recently Jeremy Allen White had an interesting interview with GQ UK. He shared some disgusting situations he faced in the industry, while talking about his shifting to a new house, which he is currently renovating. He lived in a cottage style house for seven years in LA. Currently the kitchen is getting renovated.

Beside sharing his personal life, he also spilled the beans about getting an offer of a "Marvel-y" movie. He disclosed that he met a Marvel executive once, who offered him a role in Marvel. “I think I played it all wrong." Jeremy asked the executive “Tell me about why should I do your movie?”, to which he received a harsh reply like, “Fuck you”, and White recalled he replied back to him, “Right on.”

Jeremy's confusion about Marvel movies

Jeremy doesn't understand why nowadays it has become a trend for every newcomer to do a Marvel movie. “I am confused at how the pinnacle of an actor’s career has ended up in that place. They get really good filmmakers to do those movies and obviously they get really good actors to do those movies", he shared his thoughts.

He ended the topic by saying that he's currently taking some time to do something what he likes the most. That's how he wants to conquer fans' hearts.

Jeremy Allen White rose to fame with American TV series, Shameless and gained more popularity for another American drama, The Bear. The actor will be next seen in The Ircon Claw, along with Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson and Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The story is based on the famous Von Erich family, the Von Erich brothers.
