After having done films like Dhaakad, Thalaivii, Panga and others, one does realise that the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is always up for roles that makes her push the envelope and get her out of the comfort zone. That also kind of explains the reason why she chose to do a film like ‘Tejas’, in which she plays the role of Tejas Gill, who happens to be an Air Force fighter pilot.

With a film like ‘Tejas’ up for release soon, its totally needless to say that, Kangana Ranaut is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film hits the bull’s eye at the box office. Today, Kangana Ranaut had an opportunity to meet the real-life Air Force Pilot in the form of Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh. For the uninitiated, Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh happens to be the first and only female pilot to fly the Rafale fighter aircraft. She also happens to be a part of the Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent that had participated in the Orion war exercise, which had taken place in France.

The duo of Kangana Ranaut and Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh had met at ‘Amrita Ratna 2023’, an event that aimed to celebrate the achievements of Indians in various fields and have made their country proud through their achievements. During the event, it was observed that both Kangana Ranaut and Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh were having a deep and interesting conversation with each other. During the interaction, Kangana Ranaut made it a point to mention Ronnie Screwvala, who happens to be the film producer of ‘Tejas’.

Speaking about Ronnie Screwvala, Kangana said that he was a very patriotic human being. She added that he was a producer who took a lot of interest in making a film that celebrates patriotism. As for the film ‘Tejas’, besides Kangana Ranaut, it also stars Varun Mitra, Anshul Chauhan, Vishak Nair and Ashish Vidyarthi in important roles. The film is slated to release on October 27 this year. The film has been directed by Sarvesh Mevara, who has also written the film.
