Teja Sajja and Prasanth Varma's HanuMan is all set to stream in Hindi from March 16, 2024, on Jio Cinema.
Teja Sajja in HanuMan
Prasanth Varma's HanuMan is one of the most-awaited films on OTT and its Telugu digital release has not been confirmed as of now. Meanwhile, HanuMan's Hindi version will be premiered on Colors Cineplex channel and Jio Cinema at 8 pm on March 16, 2024.
Ahead of its Hindi OTT release, Teja Sajja called HanuMan 'Brahmand ka pehla superhero'. "I feel incredibly fortunate to have the first-of-its-kind premiere for my film, HanuMan. This film is very special to me, and I am positive that with our movie, kids will understand the power of Lord Hanuman more simplistically. It feels amazing knowing that this film and I are in some way impacting the current generations with the rooting of our rich cultural heritage. I hope that everyone will resonate with our very own 'Brahmand ka pehla superhero'," he said.
HanuMan is a blockbuster hit and has grossed close to Rs 330 crore worldwide. For the budget spent and a new star cast, HanuMan has made a solid profit for everyone involved with the film. The film is set in the fictional village of Anjanadri and has Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Samuthirakani in important roles.
HanuMan is quite special as it is the 8th highest-grossing film globally in 2024. Not only at the box office but HanuMan has won appreciation from all quarters. Even the Union Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, met Teja Sajja and Prasanth Varma and appreciated them for making a film on the original Indian superhero.
The work on HanuMan's sequel is already underway and Teja Sajja will be seen in a key role along with a popular Hindi star, as per reports. Prasanth Varma, who made his debut with Awe, has created a niche for himself with each passing film. He is being compared to ace director SS Rajamouli by the Telugu media for the way he makes his films on a grand scale. We need to see what he has in store for the sequel of HanuMan.
