Team Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban comes together again for another project, titled B.E BAR

Debutant filmmaker Ranjith Manikandan aka RDM's Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban (streaming on Zee5), which released in 2020, was one of the highly critical Tamil movies of 2020. Suresh Ravi played the lead in the movie and his performance was lauded by critics and audience like. Its story revolved around the relationship between a police officer and a food delivery employee.

How fate played spoilsport in the life of an innocent man formed the crux of the film. Now, the team is back again for another movie, titled B.E BAR. While Suresh Ravi will be seen as the protagonist in the film, which is billed as a fun-filled entertainer set against a college backdrop, Ishara Nair of Sathuranga Vettai (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) fame plays the female lead in it.

The movie's theme is said to revolve around a few engineering students who are trying to clear their arrears. Thambi Ramaiah, Livingston, Kalloori Vinoth, Madhu and Renuka among others essay important characters in the project which has more or less same technical crew members who worked in Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban.

Vishnu Shri KS has handled cinematography while Adithyha and Soorya have composed music. Vadivel and Vimalraj have handled editing of B.E BAR and Sivaraj has helmed its art direction. Kalloori Vinoth has penned the Dialogues for the movie while its lyrics have been penned by Gnanakaravel and Gana Prabha.

The movie has been bankrolled by Malcolm of Absolute Pictures in association with White Moon Talkies and BR Talkies Corporation. According to a source, the post production of the project is going on at a brisk pace. Though its official first look is expected to be unveiled soon, the team released a few working stills from the film.
