Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie is all set to hit streaming on March 15 and Bob Iger has a surprise in store for us.
Who could have thought that a concert film with a pop sensation at the center would turn out to be one of the most successful films in a year that had some maverick and a couple of legendary filmmakers release their ambitious films? Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has broken so many records as it was released worldwide one by one, and fans flooded the theaters to witness their star on the big screen and scream their hearts out listening to her singing at one of the biggest tours of her career and in the world of music. The movie is now coming to streaming with its digital premiere being confirmed on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar in India on March 15.
Disney boss Bob Iger made the announcement and left the world excited. However, one thing that he revealed has also left us curious about the Eras Tour movie like we will be watching it for the first time. Iger, while announcing the movie, revealed that the streaming version of the movie will be longer than the theatrical cut, and not just that, it will also include five bonus tracks that we didn’t get to hear in the theaters. Turns out we are up for a very big surprise.
Taylor Swift poured her heart out in The Eras Tour, which also translated on screen in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie. It is already confirmed that the streaming version of the movie will include "Cardigan," which was not a part of the theatrical cut. But the additional four acoustic songs are the real mystery. The Eras Tour movie was shot across three nights of concerts in Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium. Each night had two surprise acoustic songs. The movie that was released in theaters included two of them, namely "Our Song" from her debut album Taylor Swift, which she played on the guitar. And "You’re On Your Own, Kid" from the album Midnights on piano.

This means that four of the six songs stretched over three nights are still under wraps in the recorded version so far. This means that the studio will probably add these four tracks in the streaming version of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. This has to be the biggest surprise for all the Swifties because these are some of the most loved songs that the pop sensation has sung.
This is not the first time Taylor Swift is making her way to Disney+ through her concert movie. Her City Of Lover concert was also available to stream on the platform for a brief period. The pop sensation has most recently announced her new album at the Grammy’s where she created history this year by winning Best Album Of The Year fourth time at the age of 34.
The pop sensation will continue to dominate the world and the Swifties are here to witness it and are ruled by their mother. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie will hit Disney+ on March 15, 2024.
