The trailer reveals the crux of the film is centred around the disappearance of Aarika's husband and how Aravind Ashwatthama uses his wits to nab the culprit.
September is a packed month for moviegoers with not only multiple big releases in the offing. For Kannada cinema patrons, especially, each Friday of the month is set to offer something new and exciting and one among the lot is Meghana Raj Sarja's return vehicle, Tatsama Tadbhava. The film promises to be a gripping mystery thriller that also stars Prajwal Devaraj in the lead role.
Written and directed by debutant Vishal Atreya, Tatsama Tadbhava has been produced by the combination of Pannaga Bharana, Spurthi Anil and Chethan Nanjundaiah. Pannaga, a close friend of Meghana and her late husband Chiranjeevi Sarja, is said to have implored the actress to consider the script for her comeback and eventually, he was able to bring her on board. Tatsama Tadbhava will release in theatres on September 15.
Aravinnd iyer, Mahathi Vaishnavi Bhat, Balaji Manohar, Sruthi, TS Nagabharana, Girija Lokesh, Rajshri Ponnappa and others, too, are part of the film. Vasuki Vaibhav has scored the music.
Meghana Raj and Prajwal Devaraj delve into convoluted mystery
The maiden trailer of Tatsama Tadbhava is here and as expected, the 2-minute-26-second long video functions mainly as a glimpse of what's in store. Dynamic Star Devaraj introduces the world to us and also the characters, including Prajwal Devaraj's cop Aravind Ashwatthama and Meghana Raj's Aarika. The crux of the film is centred around the disappearance of Aarika's husband and how Aravind Ashwatthama uses his wits to nab the culprit.
Is Aarika the victim? Or is she, too, one of the suspects? The film's synopsis suggests that a 'web of secrets, lies, and mystery' awaits us at the theatres.
Tatsama Tadbhava to clash with Baanadariyalli
As already pointed out, the month of September has a plenitude of films on offer and not just in Kannada. The month will be kicked off by Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A and Kushi (on September 1) with Jawan and Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty releasing the following week.
Kushi and Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, a mini Barbenheimer in the offing?
September 15, though, has multiple films arriving at the box office including Tatsama Tadbhava, Baanadariyalli, Skanda (Telugu), Tillu Square (Telugu) and a few others. Tatsama Tadbhava, on the one hand, is a mystery drama whereas Baanadariyalli promises to be a breezy romantic story so it would be interesting to see which of the two films wins the Kannada audiences over. Or would it be an even contest?
