Meghana Raj Sarja had taken a break from cinema in early 2020, because she was expecting her first child with husband Chiranjeevi Sarja. Tragically, though, Meghana lost Chiru, as her husband was fondly known, to a heart attack when she was still five months pregnant. Motherhood kept her away from the limelight for a while, until she finally decided to make baby steps and return to do what she does best. At first, she began with judging duties on television reality shows and it was only much later that she felt ready to get back to cinema. In fact, when she announced her comeback, she did it with a project that her near-and-dear ones were involved with.

The film, Tatsama Tadbhava, has been produced by Pannaga Bharana, who was one of Chiranjeevi Sarja’s closest friends, while Prajwal Devaraj, who was also part of the same clique plays a pivotal role in it. A little while ago, the team revealed the teaser of the film, featuring Meghana as Arika, reporting that her husband is missing in a police station. Prajwal is the investigating officer Aravind Ashwatthama, with the official synopsis of the film hinting at the investigation revealing a web of secrets, lies, and mystery.

The film, written and directed by Vishal Atreya, has Rajshri Ponnappa, Aravinnd Iyer, Girija Lokesh, TS Nagabharana, Balaji Manohar, Sruthi, Mahathi Vaishnavi Bhat, among others on the cast, while Vasuki Vaibhav fills in as music director. The team had earlier announced that Tatsama Tadbhava would be Kannada-Malayalam bilingual, considering that Meghana is a known name in Mollywood too. As of now, it is being publicised as an August theatrical release, although the makers have not revealed a date.
