Meghana Raj Sarja's comeback outing Tatsama Tadbhava might have had a short stay at the box office but the film is now ready for its second lease of life on the OTT. The Vishal Athreya mystery thriller, which also stars Prajwal Devaraj and an ensemble cast, released in theatres on September 15 and received encouraging reviews from critics who felt both Meghana and Prajwal's performances, along with the plot, were the highlights.

Where to watch Tatsama Tadbhava on OTT?

However, despite all the merits, Tatsama Tadbhava could not yield great results at the box office during its limited theatrical run. It's possible that the audience deemed the film to be an 'OTT watch', considering its genre and its overall billing, which might have resulted in the underwhelming box office figures. So, in this vein, one does expect the film's OTT debut to help it reach a much wider audience and fetch the desired results for the makers.

Tatsama Tadbhava released on Friday, October 20, on Amazon Prime Video and is available to stream only in Kannada (with English subs).

What is Tatsama Tadbhava about?

In the film, Meghana plays the role of Arika, a woman who reports her husband missing, with Prajwal Devaraj donning the role of the police officer in charge of solving the case. What begins as a seemingly simple missing person conundrum soon reveals itself to be a maze of deceit and it comes down to Aravind Ashwatthama to get to the bottom of it all.

OTTplay's review of the film noted that the charm of Tatsama Tadbhava lies in the fact that its narrative allows the viewer to participate in the investigation, while also highlighting that one may find the film to be resembling multiple other titles of the same genre. Here's the detailed review:
