Actor Tanuj Virwani welcomed a baby girl with wife Tanya Jacob on Tuesday morning (September 24). The new parents announced the good news on their social media accounts.

Murshid actor Tanuj Virwani and his wife Tanya Jacob embraced parenthood for the first time as they welcomed their baby girl on September 24. A while ago, the actor shared the good news in a collaborative post with his wife on Instagram. As soon as they dropped the post, fans showered love in the comment section.

Taking to their Instagram accounts, Tanuj Virwani and his wife Tanya Jacob made a collaborative post to announce the birth of their baby girl. The new parents dropped a cute pink creative and the text on it read, “Our baby girl is here. Tanya and Tanuj. 24/09/2024.” In the captions, they also expressed, “Today is the first day of the rest our Lives.”

After embracing fatherhood for the first time, Tanuj told Hindustan Times, "Both mother and daughter are healthy. It was a nice and smooth, normal delivery, everything went very well. We woke up at 4am in the morning when her water broke and we rushed to the hospital. We had quite a day today!"

He further added that it was the most incredible and surreal feeling in the world. Expressing happiness, Tanuj shared that after hearing a lot of stories about pregnancy and delivery from friends and family, it feels surreal to experience it and it's an unexplainable feeling. "You just think that the due date is about to come, and when it happens, it's incredible," he shared.

In July, the couple shared an adorable picture to announce that they are going to be parents soon. In the snap, Tanuj can be seen planting a kiss on his wife's baby bump. On the professional front, Tanuj was recently seen in Murshid co-starring Kay Kay Menon and Zakir Hussain. He played the role of Kumar Pratap Rana in the thriller series. The series is streaming on ZEE5 and you can also watch it with your OTTPlay Premium.

Meanwhile, Murshid follows the story of a retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) who is forcibly drawn into the gangster life he thought he had left behind. He takes this step when he involves the son of his former rival Farid, played by Zakir Hussain, in a dangerous plan.
