The actress will be hosting the Telugu version of the food show while Prithviraj and Vijay Sethupathi will be anchoring the Malayalam and Tamil versions, respectively,,
After releasing a video featuring Vijay Sethupati and Tamannaah Bhatia ahead of their stints as the hosts of MasterChef Tamil and Telugu, respectively, the latest promo had the actress in a sizzling avatar, hyping up her show.
Tamannaah, who will be making her TV debut with MasterChef Telugu that will be aired on Gemini TV, shared the promo video on her social media page, with the caption, “There’s no sincere love than the love of food. Bringing to you my love for food on television for the first time ever.”
The cookery show, based on MasterChef Australia, will feature 28 episodes with about 15 contestants vying with each other to win the cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. Each episode will be aired weekly and the show will also have three celebrity chefs as its judges.
In June, Tamannaah had shared a BTS photo from the sets of the show. It was also announced that Prithviraj Sukumaran will be hosting the Malayalam version that will be aired on Surya TV while Kiccha Sudeep will be the anchor for the Kannada instalment of the show. Incidentally, this is not the first adaptation of MasterChef in the country as the Hindi version had about six seasons hosted by Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapur and Ajay Chopra.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah, who was part of the webseries November Story in Disney+ Hotstar and 11th Hour in aha. She is awaiting the release of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan and is also part of Nithiin’s Maestro, the Telugu remake of Andhadhun.
