Takeshi's Castle reboot version has been announced. This time, Bhuvan Bam will be lending his voice to the game show.
Takeshi's Castle is one of the most famous Japanese game shows. In the early 2000s, Jaaved Jaaferi was the commentator on the show's Hindi-dubbed version. Recently, the reboot of Takeshi's Castle was announced by an OTT giant. It was revealed that Bhuvan Bam had replaced Jaaferi as the commentator on it. Now, the makers have dropped the first promo for Takeshi's Castle and its release date.
When and where to watch Takeshi's Castle reboot
Takeshi's Castle reboot version will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The makers of the show have revealed it will premiere on November 2, 2023. Bhuvan Bam has come on board as the commentator for the OTT show. As per media reports, the show is limited to only 8 episodes for the audience. More details about Takeshi's Castle reboot version are awaited.
For the unaware, Bhuvan has lent his famous character Titu Mama's voice to the show. The promo gives a small glimpse of how the actor will add more humour to Takeshi's Castle reboot version.

While sharing the promo, the makers of the show wrote, "that wasn’t very professional of them (we’re just happy it's happening) Takeshi’s Castle ft. #BhuvanOnPrime, Nov 2 (sic)."

Earlier, in a media statement, Bhuvan expressed his excitement to be a part of Takeshi's Castle. "Since the original version of Takeshi’s Castle was on television, I have been an ardent fan of the concept, execution, and hilarity of the game show. It’s highly nostalgic for me to have grown up seeing the show, and now voicing it is genuinely a full-circle moment. I don’t think there is anyone in my generation who hasn’t loved and enjoyed this madcap comedy," he said.

Bhuvan started his career as a YouTuber and created his channel, BB Ki Vines. After he rose to fame with his hilarious videos, Bam made his acting debut with Dhindora.
His first OTT show happened to be Taaza Khabar which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. He worked with Shriya Pilgaonkar and Deven Bhojani on the web series.
