Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Palak Sindhwani, who plays the role of Sonu in the show, is to face legal action, here's why!
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most-loved sitcoms on Indian Television. The show has been running since 2008 and even today has millions of loyal fans. However, the show has also been a part of multiple controversies given that it also features a lot of actors. In the recent update, Palak Sindhwani, who plays the character of Sonu in the show might face legal action as she breaches her legal contract.
According to the media reports, Palak Sidhwani can fall into legal trouble for breaching the contract's exclusivity. The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are set to issue a legal notice to the actor.
If reports are to be believed, Palak has caused damage to the production house, her character, and the broadcasting platform. The actress might have been involved in promoting third-party endorsements and appearances and has obtained no written consent from the TMKOC makers for the same. Not only this, she took this step even after the production house had previously warned the actress about the same.
However, Palak Sidhwani has refuted all these rumors and said that she has no idea where this news is coming from nor has she received any legal notice yet.
Meanwhile, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stars Palak Sidhwani as Sonu aka Sonalika Aatmaram Bhide AKA Sonu. She replaced Nidhi Bhanushali for the role four years ago. The show is produced by Asit Modi and has been running successfully on Television for over 16 years now. The show revolves around multiple families with different cultures but a lot of love living in the society called Gokuldham co-operative society.
