Jethalal and Bhide go loggerheads again on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
The latest theme on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is elections. This is obviously keeping in mind the ongoing elections for the next PM. This time around, the show will see Gokuldham vs Gokuldham. Mainly, it is Jethalal vs the other Gokuldham society members.
The OG of cancel culture Popatlal stepped in to ask Jethalal and his gang to cancel their plans of conducting elections outside of the society. Patrakar Popatlal has the standard line, while also being worried that he is not getting married despite his ageing.
Like most times, it is again Bhide vs Jethalal. Tukaram Atmaram Bhide is here and tells Jethalal that they clearly had a conversation to not have any banner work outside of their society. He goes ahead with his hook dialogue, “Yeh cheating hai,” too.
Bhide argues that since they (him, Popatlal and Dr. Hansraj Hathi) were there already, they will not leave the premises. Soon, there’s argument that Jethalal should leave. He, however, is busy offering drinks to those who promise to vote. Jethalal is with Roshan Singh Sodhi and Krishnan Iyer. Soon after, a fight breaks out and it turns into Gokuldham society members fighting among themselves. The fight ends with Bhide pushing an MLA away, and Jethalal suddenly losing his patience.
One of the longest-running shows on Television, TMKOC is now streaming on SonyLIV. It is about the members of the Gokuldham society, mainly consisting of Jethalal, Daya, Babuji, Tapu, Taarak Mehta, Anjali Mehta, Bhide, Madhavi, Sonu, Rohan Singh Sodhis, Gogi, Dr. Hathi, Komal, Goli, Popatlal, Babita, Iyer, Bagha, and Abdul. The show was recently in news because the original Sodhi, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, had gone missing. He came back home and stated that he was done with human life and was seeking peace.
