Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Has Shailesh Lodha blocked producer Asit Kumar Modi’s calls?

It has been a while since Shailesh Lodha abruptly quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He stopped shooting for the show, even if he is known as the lead character, Taarak. It now appears that the actor has even gone ahead and blocked producer Asit Kumar Modi’s calls.

As per an ETimes report, Asit Kumar Modi has been trying to reach out to Shailesh Lodha for a discussion but that has not been possible since the number he calls on gets disconnected after one ring. This usually happens when you put a number in the block list.

It appears that Shailesh has absolutely no plans to return to the show or even talk about it. According to the report, Asit has been trying to reach to Shailesh since he is now worried about the show. Ever since Disha Vakani (Dayaben) left the show mid-way, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah became less appealing. Now, with one of the lead actors leaving the show again, the producer is worried.

Before Shailesh, Neha Mehta (Anjali) had quit the show. Sunanya Fozdar has replaced her. Gurucharan Singh (Roshan Singh Sodhi) is also replaced by Balwinder Singh Suri.

Whether Shailesh will be replaced or his space will remain empty like Disha’s is yet to be known. The big question will be – who can replace Taarak Mehta?

Shailesh Lodha has bagged a new show named Wah Bhai Wah. The show will air on Shemaroo TV. It is likely to stream on the channel’s OTT platform ShemarooMe too.

Soon after the news of his exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Shailesh made the announcement of Wah Bhai Wah. The show will air on TV in mid-June.
