Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been the audience's favourite sitcom for 15 years now. Produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, TMKOC first aired on television in 2006. Today, the episodes also stream on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. In the last week, several things happened in the Gokuldham Society of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah shared a weekly recap of the sitcom on YouTube. It begins with Tapu Sena being invited to an international conference in Pune followed by Bhide initially denying permission to Sonu for the travel. Later on, Bhide along with Tapu Sena heads to Pune.

But something tragic happens and Bhide's side car scooter is lost. It leads to Bhide losing his cool as well. Moving on, Gokuldham Society's purush mandli gets tensed as their friend Popatlal returns home worried. Toward the end, when Inspector Pandey opens his car door, Champaklal Gada gets pushed and falls.

Changes in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star cast

Meanwhile, Asit Kumarr Modi's show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has undergone many changes regarding its star cast. Shailesh Lodha, who used to play the titular role, was replaced by actor Sachin Shroff. After Gurucharan Singh Sodhi quit TMKOC, Balwinder Singh Suri was roped in for his character.

Apart from them, Sunayana Fozdar stepped into Neha Mehta's shoes to essay the role of Anjali. On the other hand, Tapu's character also got a new face - Nitish Bulani. Only actors like Dilip Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar, Tarun Mahashabde and others are still an integral part of TMKOC.
