Jethalal is now Tukaram Ji in order to catch Dunky Wala
Jethalal wishes to get back at Dunky Wala and has found a way out. He seeks help from Gokuldham society’s Purush Mandali for the same. Bhide, in particular, helps Jethalal transform into a Kolhapuri man so he fits the role to be able to catch Dunky Wala. Here’s what happened last night on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (available for streaming on SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium)…
The Purush mandali of Gokuldham society fill the bag with Rs. 1-3 lakhs each. They start counting the money among themselves. Bhide warns Jethalal to make sure Dunky Wala doesn't find the money.
Jethalal has all the details about the next day’s meeting. Sunder joins Jethalal, who is Tukaram in disguise. As Bhide gets upset about Taarak Mehta not using Tukaram ji, Jethalal points out Bhide himself never says Tukaram ji. Bhide insists that ji should be added since Jethalal is pretending to be a big-shot. Sunder also asks everyone to address Jethalal as Tukaram ji currently.
Sunder demands a luxurious car since he has promised Mayur Mistry he is getting a big client to him. Sodhi promises that the car is no tension, since he can rent such a car. Bhide warns Sodhi to get a luxurious car and not bus, making them laugh a little.
Mehta then reminds them all to dress up like Tukaram ji's employee. Jethalal warns Dunky Wala in his imagination, but stating a Kuttchi manu will pay back. This leaves Bhide confused, since no Tukaram is Kuttchi manu. Mehta reminds Jethalal that he has to be Marathi maanus, and Jethalal asks Bhide for help. Of course, the secretary has a plan in action, to transform Jethalal into a Kolhapuri man. With that, Bhide keeps his promise and turns Jethalal into an unrecognizable Kolhapuri maanus. When Bhide asks Sunder for a comment, the latter refuses to pass any since he has no idea about Kolhapur itself. Jethalal praises Bhide, and with it, they set off to meet Dunky Wala.
