Jethalal arrived to the police station in the nick of time – when Chalu Pandey was about to head out for a date with his wife Basundi. Jethalal, troubled over Dunkiwala’s scam, reaches out to the police for help. While he has kept the matter hidden from the society members right now, there is constant pressure about the 35 old fridges in Gokuldham society, which are not going out anytime soon. Bhide and Popatlal question Jethalal over the 35 fridges in Gokuldham society

Bhide notices the 35 fridges in Gokuldham society, which is when Jethalal and Taarak Mehta come out of the latter's house. Bhide reminds Jethalal that the fridges need to get out of the society within half an hour. Mehta lies to the secretary that the labour is on its way.

That is when Popatlal arrives too. He also asks the same question, and Mehta answers again. Popatlal wants a lift in the auto, so he wishes to join them. Mehta informs Popatlal that they are going out for breakfast, leaving the journalist confused.

Anjali and Abdul give Jethalal and Taarak Mehta a scare

If that wasn't enough, Anjali arrives at the very moment. Popatlal being the snitch, he informs Anjali of Mehta and Jethalal's plans. Mehta refuses the claims to Anjali, but Popatlal calls him out for it. Mehta clears the air and states he has important work with Jethalal. Popatlal stops them again to ask if their work is related to the fridge. Jethalal finally lashes out that he is taking Mehta out for a meeting with his client. Jethalal then scolds Popatlal and asks him to go inside. Post their argument, Popatlal keeps taking rounds of the society before eventually heading back home.

Just as Jethalal heads out of the society, Abdul screams 'bewakoof.' Although he screams so in his airpods, Jethalal does not notice them and gets scared everytime he hears the word.

Back at the police station, Chalu Pandey almost heads out for a date with wife Basundi. That is when Jethalal screams his name and comes to the station to complain about the fraud.

He mentions the whole incident with Dunkiwala to Pandey. The inspector respects the scammer, stating that he scammed Jethalal with a cool head.
