Bhide has come across a dicey situation. He is waiting on a plumber so that there is no water wastage, while his student, about to be married, is waiting for his teacher to come and give him blessings. Bhide wants to be there for his student but cannot owing to the plumber situation. Just then, Popatlal comes to the rescue. Know what happened next on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah…

Bhide caught up between saving time and saving water

Madhavi asks Bhide to inform Vijay that he cannot be there for his student because there's a leakage in the kitchen pipe and that requires Bhide's attention. As he picks up the call, the master ends up calling Vijay himself a leakage.

Vijay, who is getting ready for his wedding, refuses to do so till Bhide comes to the wedding and gives his blessing to the student. Without hearing Bhide's side, Vijay cuts the call.

As Bhide complains about the same, Madhavi lets out a taunt for her husband. The whole drama is because Bhide family is waiting for the plumber to arrive to fix the kitchen pipe.

As everything transpires, Madhavi asks Bhide to call the plumber and reschedule the appointment. However, Bhide being Bhide, he is not able to digest the wastage of water and will wait till the plumber arrives.

Madhavi and Sonu try to reason with Bhide, and decide they want to save both water and their time. They want to leave the house keys with a trustworthy member, who can get the pipe fixed.

Popatlal to the rescue!

Just then, Popatlal comes to Bhide house. As they talk about Vijay's wedding, Popatlal gets surprised that the student is getting married at the age of 24. Without realizing the elephant in the room, Bhide ends up saying that is the suitable age for marriage.

Popatlal then realizes and understands the whole situation of why Bhide family is still at home. He ends up calling Bhide 'nirdayi' nonetheless, but ends up telling Madhavi that her brother aka Popatlal himself will take care of the Bhide house in their absence.

Popatlal asks Bhide for green kurta, gets a warning in return

Popatlal will be celebrating the anniversary of his workplace. His boss wants the journalist to do the cake-cutting, and thus, Popatlal has to reach office in some time for the celebrations.

Popatlal asks Bhide for a green kurta, and the teacher jokes, "Dekho, Popat hoke hara kurta nahi hai iske paas!" Popatlal takes offense but ends up telling Bhide that he does have a green kurta but it is quite old. Thus, Bhide offers his kurta to Popatlal but with a warning to not stain it. And that is how Bhide family finally leaves for the wedding.
