Popatlal and Madhubala get a brief private moment in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Popatlal of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is finally about to get married, when his to-be bride throws him out of his room. This is because she wants to talk to her family. He is however left worried about what happened.
Popatlal entertains one-and-all with his workout. Jethalal asks Popatlal to stop and Inspector Chalu Pandey questions the actions. Soon, Jethalal asks Iyer to workout instead. Popatlal also jokes that Iyer should join him instead. Chalu then calls Popatlal back, and he is welcomed back with applauds. Madhubala is left impressed once again.
Chalu questions if Popatlal owns the house, and gets a positive response. Bhide, in Marathi, sends a counter-question. Chalu questions if the house is loan-free. Popatlal misunderstands that people give out loans for free. Chalu’s next question is Popatlal’s crime record. That is when the Ladkiwale get furious with his questions. Popatlal then states Chalu is at his hone-wale-damaad’s home, making Madhubala blush.
Sodhi defends Popatlal stating he doesn’t lack anything, nor does he have a bad habit. Madhavi calls him ‘khara sona.’ Anjali states any woman marrying him would be lucky. Her mom Basundi then defends Madhubala too, stating that she loves kids and respects elders. Sodhi asks them to talk in private, and Chalu agrees. Pandey is just about to reveal his truth, when Basundi questions him. On getting everybody’s approval, Madhubala and Popatlal get a private moment.
Just as they are about to enter the room, Madhubala sneezes, and Popatlal is initially unaware but then concerned. The Gokuldham society members and Pandey are also left concerned. The grandfather states that Madhubala is mildly ill owing to climate change. Dr. Hathi then takes responsibility of giving her medicine. Madhubala’s grandfather is sure that she will be well soon. Anjali and Basundi escort the couple to the room. It ends with Madhubala telling Popatlal ‘dekhiye’ and then sending him out.
