Taapsee Pannu is currently busy promoting her sequel to Haseen Dillruba, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba with co-star Vikrant Massey. The duo will be returning as the chaotic couple in the second installment of the romantic thriller. Recently, Taapsee, who plays the leading role of Rani Kashyap, dropped major hints that the third installment, or Haseen Dillruba 3, is on the cards. Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu is renowned for her quirky remarks and versatile filmography. Ever since she starred as the titular character in Netflix’s romance thriller Haseen Dillruba, her popularity has only risen.
In a recent interview with News 18, Taapsee revealed her future plans with screenwriter Kanika Dhillon. When asked whether Haseen Dillruba 3 is on the cards, Taapsee hinted with a positive remark that not only the third part but fans would be able to watch many more installments. She also expressed how she wishes that the thriller franchise never ends.
“I’m not much of a reader like Vikrant and Sunny, but I’ll give the book Malice to Kanika for part three of Haseen Dillruba. Hopefully, Haseen Dillruba baar baar aati rahegi and kabhi jaaye hi na (Haseen Dillruba will continue to go one and wish that it never ceases). You’ll see a lot of collaborations between me and Kanika in the future as well. Now we’re thinking of so many things that we can do together," Taapsee told the news portal.
Interestingly, the sequel, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, marks the fifth collaboration between Taapsee and the writer Kanika Dhillon. The actor-writer duo has previously worked in Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dillruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Dunki. Sharing about her sisterly bond and chemistry with Kanika, she said, “We’re just getting more and more scandalous with each other with each passing year. The scandals are increasing exponentially.”

She further revealed how Kanika brings out the best in her with morally grey characters and layered characters. It came as a surprise to Taapsee when she pulled off the unconventional role in Marmarziyaan with a convincing performance.
Meanwhile, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba is all set to release on Netflix this Friday (August 9). The new sequel delves into passionate love and the cat-and-mouse chase between the couple and the police as Rishabh and Rani embark on a fresh start. Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Sheirgill will be joining the cast alongside the lead couple, Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey.
