Taapsee Pannu reunites with Anubhav Sinha after their much talked about 2020 film Thappad.
Sudhir Mishra called it a wrap on his segment in Anubhav Sinha's untitled anthology series, which features Taapsee Pannu and Parambrata Chatterjee.
Pannu shared that the experience of working with Mishra and Sinha was “wonderful”, calling them institutions that help improve craft. The anthology will reportedly feature emotive stories of love and compassion set against the backdrop of the pandemic.
Previously, Pannu has worked with producer-filmmaker Sinha in the 2020 film Thappad. She had shared that she was looking forward to working with Mishra since she felt he could bring out a vulnerable part of her on screen.
"I knew I wanted Taapsee to do the film from the first draft," Mishra had told Bollywood Hungama, adding, “We had so much fun working on the film. We've all put our hearts and souls into this film, and we hope it reaches out to the rest of the globe."
Producer Sinha also shared his thoughts on Mishra's story, describing it as a deep tale filled with love. Sinha is said to have brought together some of the industry's best directors, including Mishra, Hansal Mehta, Ketan Mehta, and Subhash Kapoor, for the untitled anthology film that thematically explores the emotional transformations in our lives since 2020. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the untitled anthology film.
The film, which has been produced by Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, is one of the most anticipated projects of the year.
