Filmmaker Subhash Ghai took to his social media and confirmed the re-release of Taal in 100+ cinemas.
Taal starring Aishwarya Rai, Akshaye Khanna, and Anil Kapoor is one of the most iconic films of Bollywood. The film, directed by Subhash Ghai, was released in cinemas in 1999 with a positive response. To celebrate 25 years of its release, the director of the film now has announced that it will join the bandwagon of re-releases and will be re-released in 100+ theatres staring from September 27, 2024.
Today, on September 22, filmmaker Subhash Ghai announced the big news on his official social media accounts and revealed that Taal will be re-released in theatres from September 27, 2024. He shared a video on his Instagram account and wrote in the caption: "TAAL in THEATRES AGAIN from 27th SEPTEMBER next week A BUG SCREEN EXPERIENCE A musical extravaganza MUKTA ARTS LTD is glad to release TAAL in 100 plus cinemas on public demand. I hope you will enjoy better than small screen for last 25 years. Taal se taal mila "

Earlier, while speaking about the re-release of the film, Subhash Ghai said in a statement that it would be a great opportunity for him to meet and interact with his audience with the film's re-release. "I will be sharing some interesting stories, especially about the making of Taal, which is one of my favourite films too,” he added.

For the uninitiated, Taal features Aishwarya Rai, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Alok Nath, Tanya Mukherjee, and Supriya Karnik, among others. The film is still loved by the audience for its enchanting soundtrack by none other than AR Rahman and stellar performances by the entire cast.
