The psychological thriller is said to be in the spirit of Gone Girl and is currently underway. Delilah was brought in by Michael Bitar and Scott Strauss for Screen Gems and Dan Primozic made the deal for the studio. Further updates on the plot details are yet to be unveiled. The film is produced by Scott Glassgold under the banner of his Ground Control Entertainment.
Query and Glassgold sold their horror pitch which was inspired by Reddit - My wife and I bought a Ranch to Netflix for a whopping one million dollars in July this year. The pitch is a story that was authored by Query’s brother, Matt Query. Other than this, in October, Query also made a big pitch sale with Head of State with John Cena and Idris Elba which was produced by Peter Safran. Glassgold and Query have jointly created other projects such as modern-day Three Musketeers and Incident at Fort Bragg.
Ostrander’s Sweet Tooth has been watched by over 60 million people since its launch on June 4 on Netflix. It is rated as number six in the list of most-watched English language original series. His directing credits include Supergirl, Nancy Drew, Swamp Thing and Shadowhunters.
