The month of July is an exciting one for actor and singer Alexx O'Nell. The American actor, who is based in India and is actor Sweta Keswani's former husband, is preparing for the release of Amazon Prime Video's Tamil language web series "Sweet Kaaram Coffee" as well as his fourth original pop song, "These Four Walls".
"Sweet Kaaram Coffee" (SKC), a family drama, is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 6. The series marks Alexx's return to the Tamil language industry; he was last seen in AL Vijay's 2010 film Madrasapattinam alongside Amy Jackson and Arya.
In the web series, Alexx is paired with "Black" actor Ayesha Kapur and shares screen space with Madhoo, Lakshmi, and Santhy Balachandran. Reminiscing about the shoot of the series, Alexx said, "The atmosphere of SKC was a welcome respite from some of the heavier and more violent projects that I was working on at the same time. Madhoo ma’am and I had some time off and explored the Taj Mahal together, while Ayesha and I spent a day wandering through Jhansi Fort. Travelling and working with this wonderful team on such a heartwarming story in some of India's most beautiful locations was a breath of fresh air."
Soon after the premiere of SKC comes the release of Alexx's upbeat original pop song, "These Four Walls", which he recorded in Cape Town, South Africa.
Excited about his fourth original track, the actor-singer said, "While I'm proud of 'Still On My Mind' and all my previous releases, I'm excited about making my next tracks where I truly feel the energy of the city influencing my music. ‘These Four Walls’ represents a significant shift in my sound, and the video beautifully captures Cape Town at night. I can't wait to share it with the world."
The "These Four Walls" music video will premiere later this month on YouTube and AlexxONellMusic and the audio will be available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
Alexx is now also eagerly awaiting the release of his other films and series in the coming months, including Dharmatic's "Ae Watan Mere Watan" opposite Sara Ali Khan, and Vishal Bhardwaj's "Khufiya" alongside Tabu and Ali Faizal.
