A few days ago, Amazon Prime announced its second Tamil web series of the year. Titled Sweet Kaaram Coffee, it stars Lakshmi, Madhoo and Santhi in lead roles. Billed as a feel-good project, the eight-episode series is dropping on July 6. Bejoy Nambiar, Krishna Marimuthu and Swathi Raghuraaman have directed it.

Created by Reshma Ghatala, and produced under the banner of Lion Tooth Studios, its story revolves around three women from different generations going on a trip to explore their lives in a never-before manner. How travel changes their perceptions forms the rest of the story.

Madhoo has now taken to her social media page to surprise fans with a video. The actress says that she's excited about a trip that she is ready to go with her daughter and mother-in-law. She has also sought the help of viewers for the same.

"We want the trip to be a fun and memorable trip. It could be a cold hill station or a beach or even a small village where we could explore new cultures and the lives of people. Please share your inputs," she says, and reveals on a parting note that the trailer of the series will drop tomorrow.

Sweet Kaaram Coffee was one among the 41 projects Amazon Prime announced a year ago at a grand event held in Mumbai. The prime attraction of the project is expected to be the chemistry between its lead actors. Govind Vasantha has composed music for the series.
